Keeper of the Caribbean Legacy Award

The Keeper of the Caribbean Legacy Award (KCLA) recognizes members of the Caribbean Diaspora, living in the United States, whose  selfless dedication and commitment the well-being of others, particularly low-income and underserved students, contributes to  overall  growth and development of their community and the world in general.  In addition, these individuals depict a positive image of the Caribbean Diaspora by epitomizing the following six characteristics; determination, diligence, discipline, resilience, generosity, and integrity.

Individuals may be nominated for any of the following categories.
• Education
• Philanthropy
• Entrepreneurship
• Health Care
• Arts
• Youth Leadership
• Community Development/Involvement
• Leadership/Leadership Development
